Mornington Yacht Club is looking for a motivated person to coordinate their sail training programs across all age groups, with an emphasis on junior sailing. You will need to have people skills to work with a diverse group, including the Training and Development Committee, who will oversee your role, an enthusiastic group of coaches, and those participating in the programs. A love of sailing is important, as is experience in coaching and/or training, although not necessarily critical. You will, however, require Level 2 First Aid, a Working with Children Check, and a Boat License. The successful applicant will assist in the running of regattas, manage the volunteer base necessary to help implement programs, assist in the successful marketing of programs to build numbers across the range of training opportunities on offer, liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and assist when necessary with on water activities.
