An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and confident individual to join our marketing and communications team to take the lead on creating engaging campaigns and content to both existing and new customers of Table Tennis England, during what is a truly exciting time for the sport. As a Digital Content & Campaigns Executive, you must be dynamic and strategic in your approach with experience of engaging communities through multichannel marketing methods. You will be capable of coming up with cutting-edge ideas for campaigns, confident in creating and promoting copy and content for various channels – including email and social. You’ll need to create and deliver first-class work aimed at driving participation, re-positioning the sport, and showcasing the amazing stories from across the game. As a modern marketer, you will also put measurement at the heart of your work, and create campaigns and content built in insight before setting (and measuring) campaign KPIs throughout. You will be committed and passionate about keeping on top of the ever changing marketing and communications landscape to ensure the organisation is using the latest and most effective communication channels. You will help ensure the organisation is viewed as an industry innovator and the sport portrayed as modern and appealing to wide ranging audiences. You would be joining an established team, therefore, the ability to work collaboratively with team members is essential. The team currently consists of the Customer Engagement Manager (who this role reports into), a Senior Communications Officer and a Senior Marketing & Design Officer. The role will be based in our head office, which is located in Milton Keynes. The key responsibilities of the Digital Content & Campaigns Executive are: Create and implement the content plan that includes engaging and inspiring content for different segments across social media, website, email marketing, including articles, infographics, photos and videos Manage Table Tennis England’s social media channels to drive engagement and increase reach Assist in the creation and implementation of campaigns that drive people to participate or engage in the sport, including with our key products: TT Kidz, Loop at Work, Back to TT and membership Monthly monitoring and evaluation of online activity (website, social media and email marketing), aligned to agreed objectives and key performance indicators Support in product marketing for merchandise, courses, conferences and training programmes Event marketing, including campaign creation, ticket promotion and sales monitoring, live streaming, social media, video filming and editing Sponsorship activation and satisfaction Support and attend events where necessary to maximise TTE exposure to a wider audience Help support other areas of the marketing and communications team, and wider, when appropriate This role will include some weekend and evening work. Part-time candidates will be considered. About Table Tennis England: Table Tennis England is the National Governing Body (NGB) for table tennis in England. At an elite level, our players are on the up – in 2016 we qualified two athletes for the Olympics for the first time in 16 years and had our first ever team compete too, in the same year we won a bronze medal at the Team World Championships – our first podium finish at the event in more than 30 years. We repeated that success with another bronze at the 2018 Team World Cup, which we hosted in London, and then had our largest ever medal haul at Commonwealth Games – two gold, two silver and two bronze. Our athletes are now working towards qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and securing an even bigger medal haul at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. At a grassroots level, we also run a number of exciting products that aim to increase participation – TT Kidz, which is aimed at growing the number of young people in the sport and Loop at Work, which is aimed at getting more people active in the workplace, and Ping Pong Parlours, which are helping to bring tables into everyday spaces, such as shopping centres, to allow the public to play for free.
