Purpose To contribute to the development of the GK recruitment process with specific precise analysis of target players to determine potential to play in a winning Manchester United team Working hours Full-Time Hours of work will be planned in accordance with the football calendar Required to work weekends and Bank Holidays Main Responsibilities To code and analyse the playing performance of potential scouting targets across different age groups and countries. To rigorously generate quantitative and qualitative data that supports the decision making process of players with the potential to play in a winning Manchester United team. To collaborate with the recruitment department to collate and analyse benchmark profiles of GK’s across age groups suitable for MUFC and elite level teams. To collaborate in the process to refine towards a shortlist of target GK’s for field scout assessment. Innovative to lead and develop the GK analytical process. Person Specification Relevant vocational qualification and experience that provide and understanding of the technical and tactical demands of professional football. Experience of working in an elite player recruitment environment. Expertise in the analysis of professional football players through performance analysis systems and software. Experience of using additional software packages (Creative Cloud suite, Tableau) The ability to work with complete discretion, in a timely manner and frequently independently GK experience (desirable) Must be collaborative and self-disciplined in approach.
